Hello, dear travelers, and welcome to my little corner of the dark woods. I like to come here to commune with the spirits, and it's in woods like these that I made the fateful pact that led to signed in blood being born. I know it's been a little while since you've heard from me. I wanted to give us all some time to breathe after the heaviness that was our season finale. That said, I've missed you, and I wanted to check in with an update. Season two is still coming October 31st. I'm deep in the writing right now, and I'm very excited about where this story is going. I've also been working on some bonus material for the hiatus, and my next release will be a conversation with my best friend, who was one of the inspirations for Jason Argyle. He's a new father himself with his second child on the way, so we ended up having a much longer and more interesting conversation than I anticipated. Apparently, when you ask a new father about fatherhood, you end up with a lot of material. Who could have guessed? Which is why I'm going to ask you for one more week. I had hoped to have that conversation ready for you this Friday, but I'm taking the extra time to make sure it's edited properly rather than rushing it out the door. So that will drop Friday, August 28th. In the meantime, thank you for sticking with me during the hiatus. The response to the season one finale has meant more to me than I can really put into words. And believe me, I've been thinking about what happens next. Until next week, may the back roads and byways treat you kindly wherever you may roam.
